Waiting Room Etiquette

When entering the clinic with your pet for an appointment, they may be nervous or excited about new people or animals within the clinic.  We ask that you properly restrain your pet before coming into the hospital. It is recommended that dogs be placed on a leash, preferably not an extendable lead, or in a carrier.  Cats and other smaller pets should be in a carrier.  This will be appreciated by your pet and others waiting to see the veterinarian. It will also help prevent your pet from getting loose on the way into, or out of, the hospital.  If you do not have one let us know, we may be able to provide a leash or carrier for you to borrow.

Please realize our staff will make every effort to have each client seen on time, however emergency situations do sometimes arise and are given priority.  Please be patient and we will see you as soon as we can.

If you think your pet may have a contagious disease, please let the receptionist know ahead of time. They may advise you to wait in an exam room or outside rather than exposing other animals to a contagious disease.
